The 2019 Preview Night Gala was held yesterday at the Houston Auto Show to benefit Texas Children’s Hospital. The theme for the Gala is Havana Nights in which guests were treated to a live band (Infinite Groove), professional dancers, cigar rollers and two vehicle reveals.
Through IAS Performance with Texas Tires and Parts brings to you a driver invite only drift event. This happens only once a year during off-season due to the fact that both drivers (Randall Waters and Rudy Martinez) are heavily involved in Formula Drift and Lone Star Drift Pro-Am during on-season. So what is this Bash event? An all out exhibition so drivers can get all the practice both solo and tandem drifting in to hone in on their craft on all levels of experience. Thanks to Houston Police Academy for lending the track for this event!
Here is a look at what went down! If you are the driver of any of these cars or know any of them please direct them here for HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOS!
P.S. It’s Thanksgiving so lets give Thanks the hosts of this event Randall Waters, Missy Waters, Dewayne Ramsey and Rudy Martinez!
It’s 80 degrees Fahrenheit and the sun is shining bright so does that mean drift off-season has ended? We don’t really get a winter in Houston so 80 degrees in February feels natural to us but that does not mean we have to like it right? Anyways any temperature higher than 80 degrees Fahrenheit normally signals as a siren call to all drifters here in the Lone Star State. Unlike other events that are in the competitive drifting category IAS Performance and Texas Tires And Parts has put together an event so that drifters of all kinds can get seat time, have some good ole’ fun and maybe attract new drift fans in to this sport.
Thank you to IAS Performance and Texas Tires And Parts for hosting this event, we look forward to many more!
TX86DAY is a wrap! We had over 100 86′, BRZ, FRS drivers plus special guest Formula Drift veteran Taka Aono at this event. We also had over 20 media outlets doing their photo and video thing. The success of this event has spawned major feedback from fans and drivers to do this event again next year. We agree with the positive feedback and look forward to event bigger plans for our TX86DAY in 2017!
With collaboration of Strange Rhythms we were able to bring you our coverage of TX86DAY. I will continue to do my best to have all of the media outlets out at our event as much as possible. I enjoy giving the new and current media outlets the support and shine as much as I like to cover the event my self. See everyone again next year and watch out for even more media support at our events in the near future!
Also don’t forget, you still have time to vote for your favorite coverage. Show some love to some of these media outlets in this link below!

P.S. You have until August 31 to vote!

Alfa Romeo returned to the Houston Auto Show for it’s second year. It is definitely a head turner at the Luxury high-end boutique. This year debuts the 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia and 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider. These two car’s represent Alfa Romeo’s 55 year sedan heritage and 105 years of the brand’s existence.
Please view the Alfa Romeo Press Conference below as well as pictures of both the Giulia and 4C Spider.
Here are three pictures to show you a glimpse of what happens when you mix drifting and cop cars.

Rare Le Mans edition R33 GT-R Skyline meets Miss HIN Tampa Bear Dellinger.
Car: R33 GT-R LM Skyline (Federally legal R33 GT-R imported under VCP-32)
Model: Bear Dellinger
Credit: Rivsu Imports
I introduce to you Bear Dellinger, she is a multi-talented import model who not only knows how to pose in front of a camera, but she also has a passion for building race cars and drifting. She currently owns a turbo 350z, 240sx S14 and a RB25 240sx S13 (Sponsored by Rivsu Imports). Import models who also own and know how to operate fast moving cars? Yes they do exist, look her up for yourself!
Bear Dellinger, yes that is her real name, currently resides in Georgia so her southern-style hospitality traits were very welcomed here in Houston as seen in the photo’s below. As you can tell this is the NonStopTuning edition pictures, Bear was very generous in doing a little impromptu photo shoot with us during the event. We thank her for sparing some time with us during Hot Import Nights in Houston as she is a real natural at modeling. Although don’t forget that she is quite of an adrenaline junkie. We dare you to ask about the cars she owns and how much she loves drifting!
You can read and see more about her in the below links.
